Deadline: 1 June 2025
Julie Nordskog, Editor at Ride Texas Magazine, is looking for pitches:
Summer 2025 content deadline is June 1.
Ride Texas magazine wants to add to our pool of travel and feature writers for a regional motorcycle magazine. We accept pitches on a rolling basis.
Topics include ride reports, profiles, routes, destinations, event previews (not post-event summaries), racing, gear reviews, custom builds, vintage motorcycles, or book reviews. We’ll also consider pitches for restaurant reviews. Regional coverage spans Texas and all surrounding states.
Ride Texas pays up to $400 per print article (edited content up to 1,000 words), depending on the length and depth of research. All written content must be supported by three to four print-quality photographs of 300+ dpi.
Our next issue will go to print mid-July 2025. Content will be due June 1.
Our readers and writers ride motorcycles. The quarterly print magazine reaches over 10,000 readers through subscriptions and distribution through select dealerships and tourism organizations. We also offer digital subscriptions to our e-edition available through the Ride Texas website.
