Final Gravity, the DIY beer zine by Bean to Barstool, is accepting pitches for upcoming issues. The publication focuses on personal, cultural, and sensory narratives about beer, favoring human-centered stories over industry updates.
Writers are invited to submit:
Personal essays reflecting on individual experiences with beer
Stories exploring cultural intersections and beer traditions
Sensory reflections on tasting and brewing
Creative work from beer industry professionals, including fiction, poetry, or essays
Submissions should be reflective, intimate, and offer a unique lens on the role of beer in everyday life. Voices from underrepresented communities are especially encouraged.
Interested contributors should read the full pitching guide at beantobarstool.com/write and send pitches to davidnilsenbeer@gmail.com, along with a short bio and relevant writing samples.
* Exact due date will be agreed to upon pitch approval. Approval of a pitch before a given issue’s pitch deadline does not ensure a final story will be published in that specific issue.
