The FIFA World Cup is coming up in 2026, and we're already planning ahead! We're looking for guides to the 16 cities hosting games.
We're looking for "Where to Eat, Stay, and Play guides," with a soccer/futbol angle. Tell us the best places to watch the games, sights that tie to the city's soccer history, and the best places to stay near the games. Here's an example of the layout.
Rates are fixed at $200 per guide.
TO APPLY:
Please share examples of relevant past published work (3-4 URLS and/or a portfolio link) and a brief professional bio
Please include which city you want to write about, along with your familiarity with the city
Include one or two great locations you'd recommend in your article
Include your email address in the pitch
You do not need to include a proposed word count or deadline, your phone number, or links to photos.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING BEFORE YOU PITCH:

Don't use this form to propose anything other than editorial articles (no partnerships, social media content, PR agencies, etc.)
We're seeking writers for the following cities: Monterey (MX), Dallas, Houston, LA, Miami, NJ/NY, Philly, Toronto.
