Regular Contributors wanted (military) | 15+ cents per word

I am looking for freelancers for one-off and regular, maybe even weekly articles at We Are The Mighty. The flair we posted is for the general price range, but entry-level and skilled writers should apply if they want to! Most of our contributors fall into the $.15 per word rate or $100-150 piece rate, but those with more experience and engaging, expert content are welcome to pitch at higher rates.
WATM's content is fun, funny, sharp, entertaining, and intelligent, but above all: military-related. Our audience is the military-veteran community. If there's something you're passionate about – tech, entertainment, history, sports, movies, books, anything – and can link it to the military community, we'd love to hear pitches. We also would love to see portfolios and/or writing samples because assignments from the editor in chief are available too. Just send a DM.
We Are The Mighty is owned by Recurrent Media, and many of our writers have gone on to write for other Recurrent properties: Task & Purpose, the War Zone, Bob Vila, The Drive, etc. Hope to hear from you!
