Writer wanted for gourmet popcorn guide | $750 to $1,500

Renée’s Popcorn is launching our annual branded content piece: the 2026 Gourmet Popcorn Guide — a downloadable PDF and Kindle eBook shared with thousands of customers, partners, and fans.

We’re looking for a sharp, brand-aligned freelance copywriter or content writer to help us write and lightly shape this year’s edition.

THE PROJECT:

• ~2,000–2,500 words across 10–12 light chapters

• Topics include: flavor pairing ideas, popcorn party tips, pro-level popping methods, storage hacks, and an updated personality quiz

• Voice: Bold, friendly, clever — a bit of “refined rebel,” not clinical or sugary

• Used in: post-purchase emails, Amazon inserts, retail outreach, and brand building

YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF YOU:

• Have experience writing for food, snacks, lifestyle, or CPG brands

• Understand customer psychology and light storytelling

• Know how to keep content clean, skimmable, and lightly structured

• Can write like you’re talking to a savvy foodie… not a kid

• Bonus: You’ve written for DTC brands or gift products before

DELIVERABLES:

• 1x Word document (formatted for PDF export)

• Content based on our outline, quiz template, and brand examples

• 1 round of revisions based on team feedback

TIMELINE:

• Kickoff: September / October 2025

• Draft due: Within 7 days of brief

• Final due: Within 14 days of kickoff

BUDGET:

• $750–$1,500 depending on experience and fit.

• We value clarity and tone — not bloated word count.
