Judy Lessin, Managing Editor at The Wall Street Transcript, is looking for a journalist:

The Wall Street Transcript (www.twst.com), a 60-year-old, subscription-based financial website and publication, is seeking freelance journalists to conduct Q&A style interviews with money managers, equity analysts and CEOs of public companies under the direction of a Managing Editor.

The Journalist will send queries and schedule phone or Zoom interviews using a list of potential contacts provided to them, record the interviews, then edit the transcriptions received back from a high-quality outsourced firm.

The Journalist is responsible for taking leads from an existing calendar, managing deadlines, light copy editing of transcriptions, and getting corrections/signoff from interviewee. The job is entirely remote and is compensated at the rate of $200 per completed interview.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• BA in Communications or Journalism preferred

• More than 1 year of experience at a financial newspaper or other financial media company with a digital news management background

• Digital interview recording skills

• Must be available to schedule interviews during standard business hours
