Amanda Sadlowski, Senior Editor at Fodor's Travel, is looking for writers:
This one is for all Michigan-based freelance travel writers!
Fodor's Travel is excited to announce we will be publishing a brand-new Michigan guidebook and are looking for writers to help us share the state with our readers.
Specifically, we are hiring for writers in the following cities/regions:
Detroit/Detroit Metro Area
Mackinac Island and the Northern Lower Peninsula (includes Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Rogers City, Alpena, Oscoda, Grayling, Gaylord, etc)
The Upper Peninsula
If you are located in one of the above regions, please send an email to asadlowski@fodors.com with some information about your writing background, with links to your website or clips. Previous experience with guidebook writing is a big plus, but not required.
Keep in mind you need to currently live in one of the regions above (or live close and be willing to travel) as site visits are part of the assignment. Please reach out only if this applies to you. Thanks!
