COPYWRITER - MATH CONTENT MARKETING (P/T, CONTRACTOR)
Amplify is seeking a contract Copywriter to develop math resources as part of our high-performing Content Marketing team. The ideal candidate is curious, creative, and self-directed, with strong writing skills, a background in K-12 math education, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects. They are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This role is responsible for developing new, pedagogically grounded content (eBooks, one-pagers, blog posts, etc.) for math content marketing. Tasks include writing and editing copy, routing for review, and incorporating stakeholder feedback. This “anchor content” will define Amplify’s position on key math topics and illustrate them through examples from Amplify Desmos Math, helping bring complex concepts to life for busy educators.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ideate, create, and finalize assigned assets - including eBooks, downloadable, infographics, blog posts, and other resources - under the direction of content marketing managers
Attend educator webinars and summarize key takeaways for use in marketing campaigns
Submit promotional content into Workfront and flag any issues affecting timely production
Guide stakeholder review of assigned assets and incorporate revisions as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years’ relevant experience
Strong written communication skills and proven experience developing content
Familiarity with trends in K-5 math education
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in the Education, EdTech, or Marketing field
Experience handling multiple projects
Experience writing pedagogically grounded resources for an education audience
Familiarity with Amplify Desmos Math and its pedagogical foundation
COMPENSATION:
The hourly rate for this role is $95.00.
