COMPANY/PUBLICATION: THE INTAKE

Tebra launched a new online publication about the business of starting, running, and growing an independent healthcare practice. We’re looking for freelance writers with a background in healthcare and business to contribute regularly to The Intake.
The publication includes original reporting and research, interviews, insights, and practical guidance for physicians, nurses, practice managers, billing professionals, and everyone involved in running a healthcare practice. We are looking for writers who can drive conversations through their content, and give preference to those interested in writing regularly on specific topics, beats, or series.
We’re also looking for editors with a medical, medical billing, or business background to review and fact check articles to ensure it appeals to our audience.
We pay writers based on cents per word; information on how we determine pay rates can be found here. We pay editors on an hourly basis, with an agreed-upon rate dependent on skill level.
