Pitches wanted (dining scene) | $150 to $750++ per article
Added 2025-08-10 12:49:17 +0000 UTCCOMPANY/PUBLICATION: THE INFATUATION
Jonathan Smith, Senior Editor at The Infatuation, is looking for pitches:
The Infatuation is seeking freelance writers based in Washington, D.C., New Orleans, and Boston who have deep knowledge of their city’s dining scene—from long-established favorites to trendy new spots, and everything in between. The ideal candidates can author both guides and reviews, avoid food writing clichés, and intuitively identify the right restaurant for various situations, even highly specific ones. Rates for individual reviews generally start at $150, while guide rates generally start at $750, with final rates depending on length, additional research needed, and the writer’s experience. Pitches should be sent to pitches@theinfatuation.com with “PITCH:” followed by the proposed headline (e.g., “PITCH: The Best Restaurants In Pittsburgh”).
