As we gear up for our relaunch, The European Correspondent is now accepting story pitches from freelance journalists across the EU.
We’re a reader-first newsroom: every story we publish must matter to European citizens. That means we’re looking for pitches that make the case for why someone in Valencia, Vilnius, and Vienna should care.
What we’re especially interested in:
How EU (in)decisions impact people’s lives
Cross-border trends shaping the future of Europe
Surprising stories that challenge assumptions or reveal the overlooked
We only accept pitches through our platform, Vika – no email, please. We can only commission freelancers registered in the EU.
