Remote Grant Writers wanted (health, biomedical companies) | $200 per hour

IronFeast Consulting LLC is seeking accomplished Grant Writers to join our team on a Full-Time or Freelance basis. You'll play a critical role in helping innovative health and biomedical companies secure high-stakes federal funding.

We're looking for writers who excel at transforming complex scientific concepts into persuasive, compliant grant proposals. This position demands precision, strategic insight, and a proven track record with competitive federal funding mechanisms.

PRIMARY FOCUS AREAS:

• National Institutes of Health (NIH): SBIR and STTR programs (Phase I, Phase II, Fast-Track)

• Department of Defense (DoD): Medical research initiatives including CDMRP programs

• Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H): Transformative health innovation proposals

• Foundation Grants: Strategic applications to leading health and biomedical foundations

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, write, and edit comprehensive technical sections for competitive grant applications

• Collaborate closely with Principal Investigators and subject matter experts to articulate research aims, methodology, and anticipated impact

• Ensure meticulous compliance with sponsor requirements including formatting specifications, page limits, and regulatory documentation

• Execute strategic revisions and resubmissions based on reviewer feedback

• Manage submission timelines to guarantee on-time delivery of all materials

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or Master's) in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field strongly preferred

Experience: 3-5+ years of dedicated federal grant writing experience

Proven Results: Documented success securing funding through NIH SBIR/STTR and/or DoD/ARPA-H mechanisms

Core Competencies:

• Exceptional ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data

• Strong project management skills with capacity to handle multiple concurrent proposals

• Talent for adapting technical content for diverse review audiences
