I think they explained why Frank chooses to live with Charlie despite being rich in the first episode that he was introduced. Something about being sick of his wife's lifestyle and wanting to live like a lowlife again or something.

I have never considered that the Troll is Charlie's mum - that's some dark shit! funny though
EDIT: they got bailed out dude! no poverty for the Reynolds, and just back to regular old poverty for Charlie

I love how you said “off himself”, this might be a term I’m not aware of, but I got the term from this show, hopefully it’s ingrained in your mind without even knowing it😂

I just now finished your wrap-up. About Frank's money. He's probably worth about $20 million around this episode. Someone made a very in-depth youtube video of how much money Frank actually has (based on all the information given during the show's history.) Frank has to have that kind of money to keep the bar afloat, to make other purchases which you'll see, and, I assume, to pay off a ton of people who they've wronged along the way. How else would they have completely avoided jail time at this point? Also, Frank sort of explained why he wants to live in squalor with Charlie in the 2nd season.

This is easily one of my favorite cold opens. The way Frank dangles there for a few seconds with his eyes closed before he starts talking, the sound effect of the heavy rope swinging, Dee just completely unphased and casually thumbing through a magazine, and then the way Frank says "Shit!"......it's all just gold.
