Hard Mode Rhythm Challenge
Added 2018-05-10 20:10:43 +0000 UTCMy next video will be pretty complicated, and should post on Saturday. I'll be posing you all a challenge - how do you write the demonstrated rhythm?
In the video everything will be visual, but the hard mode challenge is for you to figure it out by ear. Take a listen to the kickdrum and bass in this jam and tell me what you think is going on?
I'll also be posting the full jam without a lead so you can practice along with it. It's in F# Dorian, but there's a dominant V chord at the end

That is AWESOME to hear! It'll be great to get the academic approach to the concepts I teach on my channel, I do a lot of "shortcutting" so you'll get the important gaps filled in by working on that degree. Don't be surprised if your professors sneer at some of the terminologies I use in my videos though lol. Stuff like "God Chords", "Majorish", and "Nasty Notes" aren't approved phrases in college courses (yet!)
