okay perfect, cos I don't know why but I was hung up on the idea that Maria received fragments of Kanade's fragment too for some reason. And basically Ryoko (Finé) was super busy aha - I don't know how I completely missed the fact the aircraft was being cloaked by a separate relic oops! One thing I'm curious about, is it a coincidence that Gungnir's hosts (Kanade and Maria at least) aren't naturally attuned? When Kanade was completing her experiments were they specifically working with Gungnir at that point? And yes, if I was more responsible I would go back and watch it again but I've been super busy. Hopefully I'll be getting more of a routine these days and will be able to reaffirm what I watch in the future! Thanks as always Seraph :)

2020-06-01 21:30:54 +0000 UTCJust to clarify some questions you had: Gungnir was once a full relic, but like most relics it has deteriorated over time and only fragments of it were left. Ryoko (Finé) secretly worked with FIS before joining the 2nd Branch. With FIS she helped them create their Gungnir as well as Shul Shagna, Igalima, the Symphogear that Serena wore and the Shenshoujing, which is being used to cloak the FIS aircraft. Eventually Finé left FIS and joined up with the 2nd Branch, where she created Kanade's Gungnir, Ichaival and Ame-no-Habakiri. Technically she was still pretending to work with the Americans in order to get her hands on Solomon's Cane (She told them she'd activate it for them). After Finé kidnapped Chris to use her in activating Solomon's Cane she also stole Ichaival from the 2nd Branch. A lot of the show's events tie together really nicely, but information is drip fed to us so it can be hard to keep track of everything.
