Stuff that I am doing - 22/09/17

Aaaaaand we're back in the room!

Right: Update. Been a bit of a mad couple of weeks and I've been stressed out a lot. Mostly owing to that life thing I've supposed to have back in the real world, so I haven't had as much time for Youtube videos and I haven't got nearly as much done as I'd like. I've finally gotten up to date on the Doctor Who reviews though so I'm counting September as a win in that department.

I think I've mentioned before but I always forget with these things that I'm gonna leave He Who Moans alone for a little bit now. I've still got Doom Coalition 4 and the Christmas special penciled in for this year though so yeah alright I'm not totally out of content on the Doctor Who front.

This week I've been busy using any spare moment tracking down copies of shows included in my "Top 5 worst TV shows I've ever seen" video. I've had a copy of my number one pick on my hard drive for about two years now. It was originally gonna be my first ever TV Dissection but I just felt it was more an entry in a list than its own video.

I've also finished watching and written the script for the Bojack Horseman Season 4 video so expect that at some stage. I don't know if I'd say its my favourite season yet as they're all fucking astonishing, but the video's probably going to end up being one of my longer ones cause its such a damn interesting series. 

After those are up, I've decided to set two full weeks aside to not work on any other videos: just get a Class video ready for Halloween. Class#6, which as I've said before I've got someone else working on who's much more professional about it than me, may end up having to be rescheduled depending on when its done, so #6 may end up being #7 and vice versa, and #7 is a really complicated one, so it'll probably take a bit longer than expected. 

Once I've got a good handle on my next Class video so I'll know for certain that I'm definitely gonna have one for release on Halloween, then I'll take another look at the three part review of Twin Peaks: The Return that's currently sat in note form on several text documents. I've kinda been putting it off because its a very heavy show and I'd also like to make some time to rewatch and refresh my memories of the original. But...yeah if you've been wondering what's happened to it: its still there in the pipeline, just everything else has got in the way so far this year.

Speaking of which...oh Christ its September and I've still got a bunch of ideas for Broken Systems that I haven't had time to sit down and think about yet.

I've got this one idea that I've been looking for the right angle on called "Ghosts of my dead selves" - its about an electrician who goes to a home for retired androids where and one of the androids has robot-dementia - ghosts of items that she used to be before the materials that she's made of were recycled get projected throughout the complex, there's a robot soldier she used to be, a housemaid, a kettle etc. Really wanna have a proper sitdown to look at that at some stage.

Next weekend I'm going to British Fantasy Convention in Peterborough, so, y'know, could be a good time to sit and think about how a bunch of these ideas I have floating about could work.

...oh yeah: probably no update blog next week because of that thing I just said. Though I may record maybe a...I dunno, a patron video of something. That'd be nice wouldn't it? :p

Anyway so I'll put up early access to Top 5 worst TV shows when its ready. Hopefully soon, over the weekend probably.
