Stuff that I am doing - 29/10/17

Well its taken pretty much the entire month and half my sanity but Class #6 is finally ready for Halloween. You guys can go watch it here (if you daaaare)

https://youtu.be/51CjL3Vz_7I

Yeah the week's mostly been taken up by finishing this. The next one probably won't happen for a while, cause as said I've got someone CG animating Class 7. That and I'd like to teach myself this new bit of animation software for the one after that, as its quite a long one that answers some questions, so I'll probably have that going in the background of other projects in the new year.

Anyway, I may have to postpone my Twin Peaks return review again (I know, its been such a long time coming....maybe I'll postpone it by about twenty years like the show did :p)

Mostly its because November/December time is really fucking busy, y'know, Christmas, work, finishing stuff, that and I've been writing a shittonne more short stories lately that I'd like to find a market for (more on that in a bit)

So my list of videos between now and Christmas currently looks like this:

Now:

Results Day - Stubagful's Class#6

November:

Anthology promo vid

Stubagful reviews Rick and Morty Season 3

He Who Moans Reviews Doom Coalition 3

Stubagful reviews Stranger Things Season 2 (was gonna do this in the new year but decided to bring it forward cause I feel like it)

Short sketch

December

Short sketch - as I posted on Twitter, thinking about making a full song out of that fake Christmas single I included in last year's blunt TV guide and releasing it on Itunes as a Christmas single. All profits going to a charity for the deaf.

Blunt TV guide 2017

He Who Moans reviews Twice Upon a Time.

Boring update video for the end of the year.

So yeah expect all that stuff.

Now: on the Broken Systems front.I have ideas for most of the stories I have left to finish the book. I'm not sure if they're gonna end up in there though, depends if they work out (and it will definitely take a while for the record). As you may remember, I mentioned I've had to cut a few stories I thought I had pinned for this book as I realised they don't really fit thematically. I currently have 11/16 stories definitely done and dusted, with ideas for the remaining 5.

The table of contents currently looks like this:

1. Be Brave, Printer Old Friend

2. Cutting Edge

3. A.I: Artificial Incompetence

4. The Internet Always Remember: A Cautionary Tale for the Digital Age

5. A Beautiful Industry (soon to be published :D)

6. Digital Purgatory

7. A Character in a Broken Video Game

8.??

9.??

10. Shiny Paper

11.??

12.??

13.??

14. A War Against Humanity

15. The Man Who was 51% Broken

16. The Gravedigger

Ideas for remainders that have been on my mind a lot recently include one called "The Great Progammers" - where a robot who works as a cleaner in an office block dies and becomes a data ghost. He meets the great programmers who exist outside the universe who show him what humans do to robots when they die. Sort of like It's a wonderful life but where the robot's watching the humans tear his dead steel flesh apart and recycling him. This one might need a bit of work before I call myself happy with it, but a key theme of the collection appears to be blurring the lines between man and machine, as I have felt as I've entered full time work and have been working on my creative output, I have starting acting in a very robotic way, I repeat similar routines like a machine, I have my creative formulas etc.

Anyway, that's your lot for this update blog. See ya next week :)
