Stuff that I am doing - 20/04/18 + Cyberwoman Commentary
Added 2018-04-20 08:38:41 +0000 UTCHi everyone
So I've got a couple of things to show you this time. First is the Black Museum review which you can go watch here, lemme know if I've fucked anything up as ever:
Next: apparantly I can get 1 terrabyte of storage on google drive for £7.99 a month so I might end up spending some patreon money on that to store my commentary videos. Seeing as it winds up in a youtube player once processed and isn't blocked worldwide like Youtube itself does, it seems to work pretty well, I hope that's cool with everyone and it works for you guys. I'll probably end up putting all the Chris Chibnall commentary links all in one big post when I'm done.

We have Countrycide pencilled in for tomorrow evening. *shoots sadistic glance at Richard if he's reading*
In other news: I've almost finished scripting all my videos for May, I've just got the 8th Doctor time war boxset review to finish. Spoiler: Started off really well, massive and unfortunate nosedive in episode 3. I'm gonna try and get as much done before the end of April as possible, I've gotten a couple of weeks ahead of schedule, I'm gonna see if I can get more ahead of myself so I can make room for as much time to dedicate to the next Class video as possible (without being slapdash and sacrificing quality for quantity of course :p)
Anyway: on the book front, I've changed a few things up again, taken a few out, renamed the book entirely (I did always say Broken Systems was a working title) and I'm now only 2 stories away from conclusion.
As I mentioned in my end of year vlog several months ago, the general theme of the book is now blurring the lines between man and machine and pointing out how similar humans are to machines.
Its now called "Like Machines" and the table of Contents looks like this:
1. Be Brave, Printer Old Friend
2. Cutting Edge
3. A.I: Artificial Incompetence
4. The Internet Always Remembers: A Cautionary Tale for the Digital Age
5. A Beautiful Industry
6. Digital Purgatory
7. Haunted Machine
8. Simulated Reality (previously called "Factory Settings")
9. A Broken Video Game
The following two aren't finished yet, I'm aiming to have them at around 5000 words each.
10. The Last Human
11. Mankind was Remade in their Image
12. The Man Who was 51% Broken
13. He Died as he Lived
So yeah, I've done a few more submissions and my copy of the writer's and artists yearbook 2018 arrived recently. Fingers crossed I can get an agent and this can finally start happening after all this bloody time.
Anyway, happy Friday everyone :)
