In the DOAS afterfaff section, you mention the Dalek Puppets, and how they aren't exactly a Moffat creation. I saw them as being a New Who version of the Robomen from The Dalek Invasion Of Earth, making them sort of a Terry Nation origin, as with the Daleks themselves.
