Stuff that I am doing - 25/08/18 + War Master Review Early Access

Hi everyone. So I spent most of the week cobbling pictures, video clips and audio together for two videos, one of which I've finished.

Next up, I wasn't gonna do this but the books recommendations video was taking ages and was more complicated and I wanted 3 videos out in August and all $5 and more Patron faces to fit into my schedule and I was gonna watch this anyway so I thought I'd put a quick video together on it: Matt Groening's Disenchantment. It should be ready for early access in a couple of days.

Spoiler now: I've gotta say its better than I expected (I wasn't expecting much fyi). And I do like it a lot more than most latter day Simpsons (or as we should start calling it: middle era Simpsons given its still going and I actually think its started getting alright again lately. Season 27 was particularly good.) Disenchantment's got that cheerfully miserable and bitter perspective Matt's famous for that's been kinda absent from both the Simpsons and Futurama for quite a while. A lot of the humour actually reminded me more of his Life in Hell strips than either Simpsons or Futurama.

Anyway in other news: I've had an idea for a 10K subscriber special. I'm still 2300 odd away so I've got a while to plan it. The idea is "Popular Content Week" - a week where I upload my iteration of the sort of videos the popular youtubers make, one every day. Y'know how my subscriber milestone specials are like "a how to video" a "let's play" etc, well I got 5 of those plus intro and outro. 

I have this idea for a sort of "Top 10 Creepy Internet Videos" where all 10 are ones I've made myself and uploaded to anonymous channels and see if I can hook someone into taking it seriously cause there's so many "creepy viral videos" that I see people doing analysis videos of which are so obviously fake. I got this idea cause there was this one doing the rounds called "Hi Walter I got a new girlfriend today" which is written and shot like a comedy skit and NO ONE FUCKING NOTICED. And after loadsa people made analysis videos and took it completely seriously...it turned out it was fake. So yeah that's something I'd like to try as part of this popular content week.

I also think I mentioned in one of the Snuggly Chibnall Times I have an idea for an "ULTIMATE CRINGE CHALLENGE" thing where I pretend to cringe at pictures that aren't cringy whatsoever. I swear people call anything cringy these days.

Probably won't happen for a while though, my socialblade estimates that I hit 10k subs in the new year. Unless anyone reading this has 2300  friends who they wanna ask to subscribe and make me panic and go "SHIT I HAVE TO MAKE SEVEN VIDEOS NOW!!"

In closer news, um, yeah gonna try and finally get that bloody book recommendations video finished very soon and do a TV Dissection on Chris Chibnall's Born and Bred (season 1 is in my amazon basket). 

That'll probably be after this week though cause this week I intend to get started on the next scene of Class 8. I won't do previews of any more (anyone who missed it, there's a preview scene a couple of entries back) as further scenes give too much away so I may not have much to update you on in my "week off regular content to do class" weeks. 

I dunno maybe I could start posting random archive shit or stories in the interim....or just footage of my cat. Open to suggestions.
