Cleo update (she's alive)

We paid to have Cleo in over two nights while they did tests and then she came back home where she was pretty inactive for a couple of days: then she did the biggest shit in the litter tray ever and all of a sudden she was back to her old self: she was jumping on the bed, purring and generally a lot better.
The vets have said they found ecoli in Cleo's urine sample. God knows how she managed to get that. They're not certain in calling that the reason for her recent downturn and reminded us we've got to manage our expectations, they're still doing tests, but she's a lot brighter at the moment.
They gave her an antibiotic for the ecoli and a supplement for her kidneys that we've gotta do twice a day and we've gotta take her back next friday for new samples to see what's changed.
She sleeps a lot more often now and she's nowhere near as strong as she was but she's start getting up and meowing at me for food again, that and the fight we have to give her her supplement lately had reminded me of how strong she is (she's fucked up two scratching posts in the 10 months we've had her)

Oh I watched Demons of Punjab btw, that was bleak, weren't it? I'll try and get the video together by next weekend at some stage.
