It's so clear that Isaac became a wizard to help his mom, but she died before he could go off to Wizard school and become the grand champ he is today. You know that, if she had gotten Shadow Lung after Isaac had gone to school, he would have found the cure. He looks so depressed after breaking out of that weird mind-control-illusion space. I feel bad for them all. They all need hugs after this.
