Update Log: September 2022

Hey all, I apologize for the silence this month. In short, depression blah blah, life problems blah blah, the usual lack-of-free-time excuses blah blah, but I've been finding the motivation to get back into the regular grind with a bit of success.


Untitled 2: Part One

This month I've completely blocked out Scene 3 (includes that gif above), and Scene 4 is currently halfway done. Initially my goal was to polish Scenes 1 and 2 during this time, but instead I've agreed on blocking out Scene 4 just to get it out of the way; these scenes are going to be much more complex considering there are a lot more moving parts as opposed to the beginning scenes, but things are looking pretty nice overall.


I plan on finishing and releasing the blocks for Scene 3 in a couple days (before next month!) And work on getting Scene 4 blocked out by the end of the first week of next month. From there, I'll have to see if I want to continue blocking or start polishing to finally create some public content.


And for fun, here's some random rendered frames. Lighting/poses are not final obv

I plan on making more of these to put on these posts to add a bit more interesting content to these. With the licking scenes, I plan on adding much more dynamic bits including saliva strings and dynamic gloss maps ;;))


ABFRAP / Houdini Fluid Stuff lol

Behind the scenes: Here's a very boring and miniscule proof-of-concept video with basic objects featuring the ui.

Lately I've been in Houdini working on an interface that assists me in making those tedious fluid sims. It's aimed at making quality sims at a more efficient pace.

This really isn't anything ground-breaking or exciting to look at, it just prevents less clicks on my part when I want to make them. In addition, it also has a "grand slider" that does all the background jobs on animating other necessary properties that help aid in the quality/animation of the fluid. So when that time comes around, it should be much easier to handle these types of things!


Other than that, haven't worked on much dynamic things lately, wanted to focus solely on the base animation for now - just to show that I am still alive. That's all for now! Take care
