Hey mate, I noticed you don't edge highlight the gold. Is this a rule you follow or does it just depend on the mini or effect you want to achieve. And lastly if you were to what colour would of you chosen?

2018-05-08 12:54:02 +0000 UTCGood question! I don't always start with a dark colour, it really depends on how dark I want the lighting to be on the model. On the Stormcast character I wanted very high contrast and very shiny armour. Other types of metal I might not want such a high contrast as they might overpower the piece. So the answer is, it's complicated and it depends :D Don't worry though as I will be doing lots of variations on NMM in future videos!
