Delayed Post
Added 2022-08-16 22:25:42 +0000 UTCI really didn't want to do this to you after that last chapter, but this week has been completely nuts and I lost a lot of my writing time to work stuff and dealing with some prep for an impending move. As with the previous delayed chapters, I will post it by Friday. Please accept this consolation Jeorg as an apology for leaving you dangling on that cliff.

I agree regarding being careful depicting your main character. For the larger than life characters of the story, the way their images (like Smoke) are couched in the propaganda of their poster means we kind of know it's exaggerated in its depiction. However, for Michael, I'm definitely informed by Peculiar Soul's cover art, and what I've always presumed to be him.

2022-08-17 14:20:39 +0000 UTCI have most of the major ones planned for an appearance at some point, at least to the extent that someone in-universe would be making pictures of them. I'm a little worried that I'm trampling on my readers' internal imagery, though! I don't give a ton of visual description for some of the characters, and particularly with Mike I can see how it'd be somewhat unwelcome to show an image; I have contemplated not showing him at all. Out of all the characters I've spent the most time looking for an image of him, and I still haven't found one I'm content with. Probably a good contender for the end-ish of the story, as you said.

Now Luc is a big villain I'd love to see one of him. Or just Sobriquet, as a huge character we're yet to see. I can understand not doing Michael at this point in the story. He'd be a great ending poster.
