Doctor Who: Series 7 Minisodes reaction, Part 2

Comments

It's great re watching these with you, it has been a long time since I've watched them. Nothing remarkable or important about them, but helps develop the idea that adventures are taking place between episodes. Looking forward to Time of the Doctor! Lots of more great stuff to come...

Thank you for reacting to these! Here are some thoughts: 1. River never actually stayed for more adventures after "Angels take Manhattan". She said "whenever and wherever you want, but not all the time". PS I am really trying not to spoil things, but please check "The Doctor and the Night" 5 minisodes! They are really the best minisodes there are! (I've sent you the links to them as well to some others you've missed in direct messages) 2. As for what you've said about TARDIS not handling two Amys while making 6 Claras, these cases are different. Just like the House did in "Doctor's Wife", the TARDIS could nix up timestreams within itself. Those versions were just possible futures of Clara/Rory. In "The girl who waited", it was an external paradox of an existing timeline being rewritten. The TARDIS can simulate the future, but not two different futures at the same time. 3. This "TARDIS not liking Clara" thing was mentioned and influenced the plot in many episodes. "Journey to the centre of the TARDIS" is all about it, and in "The Rings of Akhaten" the opened TARDIS closed and didn't let Clara in without the Doctor. The reason in Clara being impossible, of course :) 4. Plot of "Inforarium" was related to at the beggining of "Angels take Manhattan" - it was the reason River had been pardoned
