Capaldi gets extremely fierce at times, in a way Matt could never really pull off, and David....he had his moments, but yeah, Capaldi absolutely did it best. His darkest and most fierce moments are my favorite instances of The Doctor as a character. Personally, I always described Tennant as like an easy-to-romanticize Prince Charming sort of character - like you said, the dashing hero every girl wants to come sweep her off her feet. But then Matt Smith is like that goofy but charming friend you never expected to fall in love with, but totally did.

The way he just rips his jacket open and yells "IF YOU ARE DETERMINED TO FULFIL THAT ROLE THEN I MUST FULFIL MIND." I think out of all The Doctors nobody does super intimidating "I'm gonna kick your ass" like Capaldi
