2019-11-04 05:59:12 +0000 UTCAnd the Doctor being more-than-human, who knows what he could really withstand, so who's to say that fall would have killed him? Sometimes I forget that as a Gallifreyan (sp?) and Time Lord, he has different rules. ;-)

2019-11-04 05:58:40 +0000 UTCI think the big farewell was done like this not just because Tennant was leaving but Russel T Davies as well so we were saying goodbye to all his characters. As for Donnas husband from the library he is in the distant future somewhere so there was no chance they would meet back up sadly. I dont know how much radiation it would take to kill a human instantly but you look at how long the people from Chernobyl managed to live being exposed to that much radiation and we know timelords are more resilient than humans so we can kinda write that off as that. Though I feel like in Dr Who in general there's a lot of things we just need to write off as them trying to sensationalize things or pay homage to the old series. Like that crashing through the glass ceiling, that could be a mix of the CGI guys making the ship fly way higher than the vision of him just jumping out right when he was over head which either way would still be pretty damaging if not deadly but sci-fi I guess lol

2019-11-01 22:32:06 +0000 UTCI liked the “farewell tour”. It was lovely, and it’s so 10th Doctor. Such great character moments in this story. Some of my favorite lines, when the Doctor says to Wilfe, “I think you look like giants.” And, “worst rescue ever!” I also love the way the music transitions from somber and soaring to bright and energetic after the regeneration. Eleven is my Doctor, but 10 is wonderful, and Tennant is so great!
