I think I uploaded this one and a Doctor Who back to back, so maybe Patreon's notifications got confused ;-) I find Rogers really interesting. I'm more than halfway through the season at this point, and I'm still wondering exactly what his endgame is...hmmmm...

Dream Miranda's "I was mother" comment is weird but I think it's in reference to how she helped James McGraw bring Captain Flint into the world, Rogers is totally using the pardons as a bribe. I feel like Thomas had a sincere desire to change Nassau and make it better. Rogers just sees an easy way to quickly enforce Colonial rule and go back to status quo without addressing the problems that lead to the pirates as Thomas wanted to do. I would've loved a Thomas vision to go along with the Miranda ones but actor availability might've been an issue.
