Thanks so much, Lloyd! This show was such a pleasure to watch, and I absolutely agree that it's underrated. I'm excited to see others' reactions now - will definitely watch Blind Wave's and I've seen some of Jimmy Macram's, though it looks like the copyright police came down on a lot them. :-( I'm enjoying a lot of the cast interviews now, too. So much more to enjoy!

Haven’t really interacted before, but just had to say how much I have loved your reactions. I first joined your channel because Black Sails is one of my favorite shows of all time, but I’ve gotten totally sucked in to your Doctor Who reactions too, and I’m looking forward to other shows. Just wanted to say thanks for letting us come along on the ride with you!

Thank you so much for watching and sharing this show! Black Sails is surely one of the best (and most underrated) TV shows of recent years. Utterly compelling, complex storytelling, intelligent writing and skillful performance! It really should be better known than it is. The complexity of the three dimensional characters is something that is rarely achieved in these sorts of shows. Heroes become villains, villains become heroes (and back again) - people often start loathing Vain, only to weep at his final sacrifice, or go from loving Billy to despising him. In a sense, though, this is a story about storytelling - how we create stories about the people and world around us in order to comprehend our lives, and to justify our actions, or to protect ourselves and those we love. So much more than “just” a pirate show! Your enjoyment and analysis of Black Sails has been a real pleasure to watch. Now that you are caught up, you may also want to check out Blind Wave’s reactions - those blokes are hilarious and also very thoughtful and intelligent in their commentary. They even scored an interview with Luke Arnold (John Silver), which is worth seeing!
