Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1x01 "Pilot" full reaction/re-watch

It's a bit of a "soft" beginning, because I did watch the first couple of episodes back in 2013 when the show first aired. I can't even remember exactly how many episodes I watched, so I thought it would be best to just start from the very beginning. As a result, this pilot episode is partially a re-watch, but it is also a reaction since I forgot a few things about it. ;-)
So this is not a typical reaction from me, but if you stick with me through these first few episodes, we'll get to totally new territory very quickly, and I'm soooo excited about that! Let's go!!

Sometimes the films just add a bit of context to what is happening in AOS. Believe it or not as the show progresses, the link to the movies becomes less pronounced - mostly because those in charge of the movies were not willing to work with those in charge of Marvel TV. As such the makers of AOS couldn't do many links. However, any events that would affect Earth (like major invasions etc... have to be either referenced or will have a minor affect on the show). As it stands the first season only links to 2 of the movies - Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Thor: The Dark World can be viewed before episode 8 (but it is not essential) but Captain America: The Winter Soldier realistically should be viewed prior to episode 17.

I was thinking about that, because I had re-watched a couple of MCU movies before seeing "Endgame" last year, but I didn't go back and watch them all from the beginning. It couldn't hurt at all to do a rewatch of the films as they relate this show. I don't think I'd like to know the exact episodes, because I don't want to create expectations, but maybe re-watching the movies before the relevant seasons...maybe that would work.

It's been a while since I've watched AOS Season 1 but with it being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, what I will say is that it sometimes directly refers to some of the movies. As such it might be easier to understand if you also watch some of them in the correct order - obviously your under no obligation to. If you would like me to tell you when you should watch certain movies, feel free to message me :)
