Congrats on sniffing out the tesselecta dodge. Now we know why he spat out the wine in 6x01. Housekeeping item: your PIP is too translucent; it's difficult to watch the show. Best. Leo.

To be honest, I preferred the first half of Series 6 even though I liked God Complex. The second half just feels very detached from the stronger first half which makes it all feel messy. The opening two parter, God Complex, Doctor's Wife and AGMGTW are my favourites but I wasn't so keen on everything else. There were some good individual scenes though. People have already explained The Brigadier above so I might as well give you a bit of a refresher from the David Tennant era. The Brigadier was previously mentioned by The 10th Doctor in The Sontaran Stratagem/Poison Sky two parter in Series 4. In a scene during the Sontaran fiasco, The Doctor told Colonel Mace (head of UNIT) that he wished the Brigadier was here but then Colonel Mace responded to him by saying " he's stranded in Peru" which was a made up excuse due to the actor being too ill to return to the show. Unfortunately the actor Nicholas Courtney passed away in February 2011 which is why he gets a tribute in this episode.
