I'd been wondering what you'd think of this one! I *thought* you might appreciate it. It's not a popular episode, but it's one of my favourites. A guy coming to terms with his not particularly great life and his death is an interesting, though very sad, story to tell. The Elton comparison is understandable. They have similar English accents (in Eugene's case presumably picked up from the mother as he seems to have grown up in South Wales!), and a similarly earnest way of speaking, yeah. :)
