That's true, and I like how we're seeing all these different sides of the parents from each of the kids. Right now, I'm finding the mom really suspect. Grrrr.

2020-05-15 07:04:06 +0000 UTCThis episode is so tragic. It makes me think of how people who've had near death experiences say their lives flashed before their eyes. Only with Nell she revisits the worst moments of her life as she's dying. And her memories of their mother are interesting because she seems to remember her as being more unstable, like the way Steve describes her. Whereas the other kids remember her as nearly perfect.

Sending poor Nell back in time at the point of her death to haunt her younger self - just the sort of twisted thing the Angels would do! Joking aside, that last couple of minutes when you realise Nell has been haunting herself all through her life are among the most traumatic I've ever seen. Still sends a chill down my back.
