I am not trying to start a fight, I am not disagreeing with you, I am just slightly confused, how can you write that "it's not a different writer"? And then talk about how it was a different writer except for the opening scene? Once again, not being a smart-ass, not attacking anyone, I am just confused and was looking for an answer if possible, if not, that is cool too.

2020-05-16 14:08:24 +0000 UTCActually, it's not a different writer; it's just that the producers have had a chance to tweak the characters a bit between seasons. In fact, Russell T Davies was supposed to be writing this episode, but he was so snowed under with work on Series 4 of Doctor Who that he could only contribute the opening sequence, with the blowfish guy. All the rest was Chris Chibnall, and the difference between this and the Series 1 finale (or his earlier work on Series 1, for that matter) is huge. It's like the whole show finally coming together.

A little joke about that 'top secret organization'. 😂 I remember reviews of the episode saying that with this 'fun romp', the series seemed to have been reinvented as something more fun and lighthearted, embracing the silliness etc. We'll see how that goes, yes? 😀 EDIT - I'd forgotten Ianto's "You're good on roofs.", a reference to all the time he spent standing on roofs looking dramatically out at the city. 😂
