The Beast Below always reminded me of this episode with a Whale like creature getting tortured. This is obviously much more bleaker though. I'm glad Rhys is finally in on the secret. The scene with him and Gwen arguing and letting everything out is funny but releases a huge weight off Gwen's shoulders. Rhys' interactions with Jack and the rest of the Torchwood team are funny. "This is quite homeorotic!" Lmao! I still don't like the Jack and Gwen thing that's going on. It just doesn't feel right. It's good to see Ianto being more proactive and I liked when Tosh comforted Owen after giving the creature a mercy killing.
