Great reaction. Glad you finally got to see this tribute. This was filmed and released last year during lockdown hence the use of individual video clips. We had a bunch of Doctor Who related lockdown stories last year and this was one of them. It would be great to see you react to more of them. To give you some context on Sky's fate. Sky was originally going to be revealed as the Trickster's daughter as a shock twist for the second half of Series 5 which never got filmed. Sky's secret was basically the ongoing arc for Series 5 where she would grow ambiguously taller in the upcoming stories that follow The Man Who Never Was. It was originally hinted first by Plark (one of the Skullions) in The Man Who Never Was episode that something was hiding inside Sky but they ended up deleting that scene after Elisabeth Sladen's death. The unmade stories (Meet Mr Smith and The Thirteenth Floor) would continue to hint upon Sky's secret until it would eventually get revealed in the Series 5 finale (The Battle of Bannerman Road). Meet Mr Smith, The Thirteenth Floor and The Battle of Bannerman Road were the 3 remaining Series 5 stories that never got filmed. Meet Mr Smith would be about Mr Smith turning human, The Thirteenth Floor would be another Clyde and Rani central episode developing and pushing the boundaries of their relationship further while The Battle of Bannerman Road would focus on the return of The Trickster, the shock reveal about Sky and the destruction of Bannerman Road. "Sky briefly manifesting in her human form" is a reference to the Series 5 finale which was going to be called The Battle of Bannerman Road where the Trickster, The Shopkeeper and several main and other reoccurring characters would return for this epic tale. We would learn that The Shopkeeper had been tricked into bringing Sky to Sarah Jane and that The Trickster was manipulating events to bring Sky to Sarah Jane. He would then turn Sarah Jane's attic into a tower looming over London. He would then awaken Sky's trickster half and use her to attack Sarah Jane. The story would end with Sky sacrificing herself to imprison the Trickster for eternity which meant Sarah Jane would have lost Sky by the end of Series 5 as it would have originally marked the destruction of Bannerman Road as well as the final appearance for both Sky and The Trickster. We would never see them again after this finale. It was going to be an epic and tragic finale. In this farewell story, the Trickster is able to briefly return and interrupt Sarah Jane's memorial because of Sky temporarily leaving him unguarded at the time. I made two posts on your previous reaction (to The Man Who Never Was) about the unmade stories of SJA and the future they had planned for the show. The info I posted comes from Volume 3 of The Sarah Jane Companion Magazine where they revealed all the intended plans for the show. I don't think you managed to see my posts yet but please make sure you read them whenever you get the time. I also provided you a link on those posts (that gives a shorter summary for the Series 5 stories which never got filmed. They were set up to be endgame for the unmade stories and they would have got together by the end of Series 5 (as they both go through a traumatic experience in The Thirteenth Floor episode which never got filmed). Despite the lack of confirmation here, I still believe that they're together. They definitely have to be even in adulthood. I'd strongly recommend reading my previous posts on your last reaction so you can learn more about the unmade stories. It will provide you with a bit more context on Sky's fate too. (I made 2 posts. One of them is quite long but I tried to space the paragraphs out as much as I could lol). I like to believe than Rani's theory on Sarah Jane leaving with The Doctor was true rather than Sarah Jane's death. Don't forget that Rani will eventually end up inheriting Sarah Jane's house in the distant future when she's much older (as we learnt in The Mad Woman In The Attic episode). So it makes sense for her to get the last word. But for now, the house is available for another owner for the meantime. I won't say much about Dororthy (Ace) since you'll eventually get to meet her in Classic Who but I will say is that they had plans for her to appear in the 6th Series of SJA. Which meant that we would have seen another Classic Who companion make a comeback in SJA. Jo herself was also due to reappear in the Series 5 finale of SJA. It's a shame we will never get to see these stories. But I like to think that her mentioning how she met Sarah Jane is a possible reference to that unfilmed story.
