I love this show and wrestling as a whole, and I’m so glad you gave the first ep a shot, a lot of people dismiss stuff like this purely because of its association to wrestling, Ruth is definitely a complicated character to follow, but I think you’ll be really surprised at the direction things go with her and the others. One thing I love about GLOW is how it truly understands what wrestling is as an entertainment medium, you learn a lot about how things work/worked behind the scenes as the show progresses as well as why people invest so much into it. Anyway, I personally hope you continue this at some stage, but regardless, excited to see what else is coming.

Fourth Wall Reactions
2021-09-29 21:40:12 +0000 UTCGLOW is a great show. "She's her own worst enemy" sums up Ruth. She has an intensity that's both a blessing and curse. I think she's a compelling and interesting character to follow. That said, if you don't, yet, you should know that this is an ensemble show. The pilot focuses on Ruth and we do see a lot of her, but we also see a lot more of the other characters too. So it might really be worth watching a couple more.
