Okayyyy! I know from the title that this is a take on "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", but I've never read it (or seen it) so maybe I missed out on a lot of references. Or not. How much of a 'take' is it? I need some animal crackers.

Yes this is inspired by fear and loathing in las vegas. After all the craziness of previous seasons it was about time they got to have some fun this episode. Season 6 is a chance for the writers to experiment and try new ideas. I know you are confused but everything will make sense in the end. Just take note of everything for later.
