I personally only felt like “wow. Ward is gone.” for a moment when he died on Maveth. And even though he died, Brett was playing Hive so it felt like ward was still here because of his face. So it felt very bittersweet seeing Hive die with Lincoln since he has the calm voice and “wisdom” of Hive but the face of Ward lol. And his “the one thing that’s alluded me all these years—death.” Felt like it was a line for Ward/Brett too.🤣 I feel so bad for Daisy. Her trauma has been never-ending. The more I watch these episodes, the more it makes complete sense that this would be a breaking point that sends her running. Trauma of growing up feeling unwanted in foster homes, SHIELD finding out Hydra has been there all along as soon as she becomes a part of it, Ward being Hydra, her parents being monsters, gaining powers but losing Trip, being under Hive’s sway, happily hurting people, being saved by Lash only for him to be another person’s death/incident she blames herself for, and now Lincoln who she loved. It’s too much. These characters need like 3 months of therapy and vacation to just take in all they’ve gone through.😫but anyway, season 4 is absolutely amazing. You will love it and it will also hurt you as well. The SHIELD promise lol😜
