"How much do you want for it? Just kidding. But not really."

That R5 is the R5 we know and nobody will convince me otherwise. He pops up in the cantina in 1x5 too.

About the guy at the end - this is no spoilers. I checked the end credits to make sure. It was intended that you recognize the actor from that shot, and speculate from there.

Hey Monica, I hope you’re doing well, and I’m so happy you’re enjoying the series. So we made it back to Tantooine, and what a nice surprise seeing female mechanic Peli Motto again, and later meeting the Marshall (a very cool Timothy Olyphant wearing Mando armor that doesn’t fit). Such a nice western vibe in outer space, like giving us a little bit of Firefly again (good show). Then you have all the call backs, or at least what fans speculated were call backs, such as: - The return of the Jabba’s pig guards but this time battling in the ring. - Seeing the Sand People again and learning more of their history and background. Very cool. - Speculation that the Peli Motto’s R5 unit that showed the map of Tantooine was the same unit that was almost purchased by Luke’s Uncle Owen in the original Star Wars film. - The speeder the Marshall was riding was part of a pod racer used in “Phantom Menace”. - The Marshall’s Mandalorian armor that may or may not have belong to Boba Fett from the original trilogy. So much fun. Upon its original release, the hard core fans were loosing their minds at the possibilities of this show. There are now several fan-reaction of the series that are soooo cool to watch and I recommend you check them out at some point. btw, Just a reminder that Dave Filoni has background in both the Clone Wars and Rebels series. Some of their stories along with some of the Star Wars novels have been incorporated into this show. Many fans of these series knew this coming in and the anticipation rose to a fever pitch. Very exciting, (a word I haven’t used in a while when speaking about Star Wars), and I’m glad you think so too. Onward!
