August 2020 - Firbolg

Who doesn't love the kind hearted, protectors of nature. The popularity of Firbolg has increased. I think it has to do with some memorable Firbolg characters played on shows such as Critical Role.

I have created male/female variants of druids and rangers, and a male Firbolg barbarian.

Overview of all of this months tokens:

Bonus Materials:

I am collaborating with two other creators, to give you some bonus materials later in the month. I hope to get it up around the 15th! I won't spoil to much, but it will include tokens.

Poll:

I am changing the date of the polls a bit. The poll will go up on the 1st, and end on the 15th. You can leave recommendations for token themes as a comment.

Thanks Drunemeton. I try to keep them about the same size but I don't measure them exactly. However, I feel like I am not too far off. For the humanoids, the parts that are closer to the camera, appear bigger because of perspective. I could try to change the perspective, so that it has minimal impact on the tokens, but to me, then it feels like the legs and are to big.

Hi Jan! When you create tokens is there a fixed scale that you use? In D&D 1 inch = 5 feet, but the tokens that you create for medium sized creatures usually fill up most of that 5 feet of space. (This is a common theme for creators and VTT tokens, as well as minis for battle maps.) With the power of FVTT I'm trying to find out of there's a consistent scale at work so I can "scale down" tokens to give my scenes a nice overall look.) Thanks! BTW having looked over your work from the past several months I have to say you've improved. A LOT! Like, a lot a lot!! Keep on keeping on fam!!!
