some wips + rambling about my plans for September

Teasers for the episode 5 I'm working on, they're rather small (in all senses x'D) because I don't wanna spoil anything, including the biggest, coolest-looking frames.

And the ramble, which should have two parts.

Firstly, I think the comic will receive two updates (every other friday) in September instead of four, because I need to earn for my living. I'm still just starting out with the comic and figuring out what works best for me, trying to balance taking care of my health, as in trying to not destroy my hand/wrist, and keep making money, which mostly still comes from outside Patreon.

It's only the second month of my work on the comic, a lot of dust still has to settle, but I think I can stick with this pattern: one month of weekly updates, one month of bi-weekly? Whatever you call the every-other-friday updates. That's until Patreon sees a more significant growth, which would let me spend less time/energy on adoptables that are currently my main source of income. I'd LOVE not having to do as many of those and fully focus on the comic.

Second point I wanted to address is semi-related to the growth of Patreon. I'm not making any big decisions yet, don't worry, but I want to hear your thoughts on this.

Currently all of my rewards are available at $1+. It's completely up to you to decide what my content's worth, and, thankfully - couldn't thank you guys enough, really ;o; - a lot of you have been pledging at $5 and even more. You're carrying this place so hard.

But a loving friend has told me that my dignity, humility, whatever this is, becomes a stick in my wheels. That by asking for so little in exchange for all the content I'm limiting my own income. As much as I hate to admit, the friend has a point. So I've been thinking to EITHER raise the minimum pledge to $2, OR move the comic early access to $5+. I won't do both. I'm NOT changing anything before September.
