Also AOT is a series where it's characters are shades of grey.. Rod Reiss in Episode 7 said he and his brother pleaded with their father to use the power to liberate humanity from the titans. The flashes Historia saw of Rod's memories showed a different perspective. Seeing Uri and Frieda both succumb like the father and the other ancestors did to the flaw of a royal in possession of the Founding Titan. Being enslaved to will of the first king.

But weird random note talking about injection vs licking/drinking titan fluid, which in retrospect sounds dirty af, in season one it was explained titans don't have stomachs or GI tracts, this was confirmed when we see Eren's flashback when he turns into a titan inside the Santa Titan for the first time. Turkey Titan had a stomach and GI tract as well as a few other things that were not exactly "normal" for titans, which is why a lot believe he wasn't a full titan. Because he licked the serum instead of injecting he was unable to complete the titan transformation and thats why he looked so fugly.

This tiny girl looking up at gigantic, charismatic, intimidating one-armed man telling him his idea was bad and she had a better idea. Courage! Self Assured! Christa is dead and gone fam, long live Queen Historia!
