The spit dripping off the barrel >.< It was much appreciated going back and doing season1 stuff after the last two epis of brand new stuff. Annie is straightup gansta.... and I love it. If we lost our leader bc of a cowardly act id be pissed off too Reiner always comes off as this bad ass tough guy it was rough but real seeing him get bullied and beat up and rejected all epi =( Epic discussion you guys are the actual real ones. 2020-12-21 02:22:20 +0000 UTCI had almost the same reaction as you when I read this back in the day. Probably some of the most depressing and dark moments in AoT so far. Reiner is a super well written character. I remember when it was first mentioned he had a split personality, I thought yeah, after seeing the people in Paradis, who wouldn't have a change of heart. Little did I know, what happened before had already left him so fragile and the mission on Paradis just totally fucked up his psyche. Last episodes' "cheerful" moments with the kids and that dinner scene are even more painful, knowing that he doesn't have a moment of peace in his mind. It's tough to watch, but also, I don't really get this emotional experience with other shows. Also, this episode flew by. Can't wait for the next one.
