this is actually a sequel to season 1 and season 2 of higurashi, this is actually season 3, the previous arcs in this are the same in season 1 but rika made them different and ended in failure obviously, in episode 2 when she saw hanyu, thats right after season 2 of higurashi when she said i have to do this all over again?

I feel really bad for her now because i thought it was a remake and she went through a lot in the second season but damn, I don't blame her.
