I think it would be devastating to him and a huge powerup. During endeavors fight with the nomu he was freaking out.

And I agree I really like Endeavor's arc and development but it scares me because it makes me feel like this redemption is the beginning of a send-off that culminates in him getting killed by All For One. Endeavor is one of my favorite characters now but I'm guessing that All For One claps at least one main character before the end of the story so I'm kind of hoping that those two never end up fighting.
