Just instant chills thinking "you believe I cannot pray with a single arm?" and it doesn't even REALLY mean anything to me as a non-spiritual person. I've been having a lot of fun rewatching a lot of these shows with you guys, thank you for your hard work.

It's like yeah the chimera ants were born monsters but ultimately that doesn't mean they have to be a monster. Then you got humans who, from this episode alone, turned out to be more of a monster than the actual monsters.

But yeah this ant shit is high level. This arc was extremely well written and executed. Mereum is one of the top anime villains all time IMO. I gravitate to darker type anime's and this arc came out of nowhere to entertain the shit outta me. Happy to re-watch this here, Thanks guys!

Meruem is so confident that he's going to win but he knew that Netero's confidence was backed by some unknown force. It's so crazy that while Netero is an inch from death, Meruem believes him and gets genuinely scared. He knew at that point that there was some abstract power that humans had (the rose) but he just couldn't comprehend what it could be until it was too late.
