I like that the very first time Gon and Ging meet, Gon is bawling his eyes out. It’s really forcing Ging to “be a dad” in a way. He wants to comfort him but he doesn’t know how 😭 A theory people have that Ive seen is that Kite would always say “bad roll” when using Crazy Slots as a sort of reverse psychology. Every time Crazy Slots appeared, he would say it was a bad roll even if it was best suited to the situation to piss it off so it would keep giving him better rolls every time he had to draw it. When he got into the fight with Pitou, he rolled the Reincarnation Staff, and didn’t say anything about the roll like usual. He knew he was going to die, so he got the roll that would keep him alive!
