You can see hints here and there from previous episodes like the ruined flag of San Magnolia, as well as the fallen statue and signs. And that field of Lycoris radiata? The same field Spearhead had previously passed by during episode 9. So in a way, everything has somewhat come full circle. 86 symbolism for you. And just to note, obvious reason as to why Lena doesnโt know itโs Shin, and Shin doesnโt know itโs her, is because neither have actually seen each other apart from hearing the others voice. Itโs also said in the LN the speaker Shin was using was distorted from damage, and sheโs also never seen the Undertaker mark, but Cyclops has, which is why the latter pointed it out.
